Mammoth Mountain open until July 4?

A frost February is ahead of us, with more snow expected Thursday that will guide us into a significant storm system expected to last through the end of the month. It’s the “mother of all winters”, according to forecasters, with over 28 feet of snow reported on the upper mountain this past weekend.

There’s so much pow right now, the mountain is expecting snow into the summer, with a possibility of the lifts at Mammoth Mountain being open through July 4 this year. Who would’ve thought of skiing in the summer?
