Home for the Holidays (in Mammoth)

Every time I stroll through town this time of year, I’m amazed at what I find. Not only heaps of snow – but warm white lights strung across every building and carols in every store. Mammoth is straight out of a dream this time of year!

The traditions remain every year too – the Night of Lights with fireworks shining above the Village the weekend before Christmas. All the way through Christmas Eve, Woolly the Mammoth mascot and Santa are hanging out in the Village for photo ops. Nighttime tubing, full moon hikes – it’s an awe inspiring time.

In addition to all of that, Mammoth has been graced with a gorgeous early winter. This past weekend, 56 INCHES of snow came down. Part of the Nomadness crew when out to get some shots, check them out below. If you still need plans for the holidays and are looking for somewhere to go, Nomadness still has Mammoth vacation homes for the Christmas weekend.
