Important MMH Airline Update!
As many of you may know, on May 17th we were informed that Alaska Airlines will no longer be offering flight service to Mammoth Lakes, CA. (CLICK HERE to read why they are discontinuing MMH flights) As we all waited patiently to hear what would happen next, the news has finally arrived!
It’s official, Mammoth Lakes Tourism has secured United Airlines to replace Alaska Air. This change will take place on December 1st, 2018. As stated by Mammoth Tourism, “United Airlines will be flying a 70 seater Bombardier CRJ700 and the flights will run once daily throughout the entire year.”
This is great news everyone, as United Airlines is the 3rd largest flight carrier. This means Mammoth Lakes, CA will be more accessible than ever to visitors around the world. Although, even though Mammoth has secured United to replace Alaska Airlines, the plan is still in the works as the discuss additional winter flight routes.
