Visiting Mammoth on a Budget

How many times have you wanted to go on a vacation, but were too worried about your funds? Unfortunately, this happens to me more often than not. Thankfully, there are ways to make traveling to Mammoth more affordable. Take a look at these tips, and start planning a vacation you won’t forget!
- Lodging: Nomadness Rentals frequently offers discounts on our listings, and we even have a “Budget” section, where you can find listings at the most affordable prices in Mammoth – check out our budget properties in Mammoth Lakes! Not interested in paying lodging fees? There are designated camping areas around Mammoth Mountain, as well as on the outskirts of town.
- Eating: Although Mammoth does have high-end restaurants, there are more affordable options available as well. Some of my personal favorites are Burgers Restaurant, Pita Pit, and Base Camp Cafe. An even more affordable option is packing your own meals! Each of the listings at Nomadness Rentals is equipped with a kitchen to prepare homemade meals. If you’re camping, there’s always the good ol’ camp fire.
- Activities: Mammoth is known for its beautiful lakes and surrounding areas. Luckily for us, all the sight-seeing is FREE! (With the exception of a little gas money 😊) Some of the top destinations in Mammoth are Sotcher Lake, Rainbow Falls, and Devils Postpile National Monument.
Have a dream vacation without breaking the bank! The money saved on this vacation will help you start planning for the next one. Want more information regarding lodging and activities near Mammoth Mountain? Give Nomadness Rentals a call and we’ll be happy to help you plan your trip!
