The fourth of July is a day to remember our fallen soldiers who fought for our freedom and those who have lost their lives, for us to have freedom and live in a free country. On this day we give honor to all the brave and courageous men and women by celebrating with festivities.
Who doesn’t love to celebrate the 4th of July? The weather is always perfect this time of year, the days stay brighter longer, there’s always tasty food and drinks to go around, and of course everyone’s favorite thing…there’s fireworks! Start your morning off by heading to the annual Lions Club Pancake Breakfast on Old Mammoth Road. Fill your bellies for an exciting day ahead with sausage, orange juice, coffee, and unlimited pancakes! Next up, once your food has settled in your stomach run the Footloose Freedom Mile! This race starts at Snowcreek Resort all the way to Footloose Sporting Goods store. If your reading to get your heart pumping, this is a great start. Parade time! Set up a chair or blanket to sit on and watch the annual 4th of July Parade with floats, music, and lots of entertainment. Shortly after the parade there a large art show where you can shop for art from over 70 local artists consisting of photography, clothing, pottery, paintings and more! As the festivities continue, head to The Village for their annual American cookout! Grub down on your hamburgers, and hot dogs while you enjoy live music and family-friendly activities.
