An Overview of the Winter Season

2017-05-24 Off By The Nomadness Team

This winter was impressive to say the least. With more than 614” of snowfall, the 2016-2017 year has been recorded as the number one groundbreaking winter California has ever seen. The trailblazing end of the year season began in November and has no intent of stopping. The Mountain has declared that with this much snow they intend on remaining open past the notorious 4th of July weekend and well into August. So grab your ski gear because the snow isn’t over yet!

If you haven’t heard, make a mental note to remember that the 2018 winter is being projected by NOAA to be an El Niño so there’s a high chance that the 2017 winter record may be broken sometime soon!
