This past weekend, the LA Times reported that the Sierra Nevada has seen one of the wettest and snowiest falls since 1984. They’re calling it a “good omen for the water year ahead.”

So, prepare to hit the slopes and shred the mountain! For those of you planning a ski trip up to Mammoth this season, here are a few tips to help you get by:

  1. For beginners, ski and snowboard schools can be located at the Canyon, Eagle, and Main Lodges.
  2. Get Outdoors 365 is a great store in town for equipment, rentals, and all kinds of gear. Get a discount for ski and snowboard rentals when you book with Nomadness!
  3. If you’re a frequent visitor, you may want to call the mountain about a Season Pass.
  4. Ask us about our ski-in/ski-out units! Having a home right on the slopes makes for a much more enjoyable experience.
